I was doing some leg stretches the other day before some cardio and I felt this really bad pinching pain in my groin area. It seems to be slightly below where the actual tendon (or whatever you call it.) I have pulled muscles before but nothing has felt like this. Do you guys think its a pull or a tear or something else? Thanks peoples.
I get sore there alittle after leg days. The first few weeks it was more pronounced but as weeks pass it is rare.
If its a sharp/intense pain, then you may have an issue, but if its just sore I wouldn't worry. Just rest.
it only hurts when i stretch there but when i do do some type of movement it it very sharp
being a hockey player, i have had a TON of these in the past. just stretch 10 min a day, and it should be gone in a day or two. try not to put too much stress on it. and for the future, make sure you get a good warmup (jog/stretch) before your sessions (whether it be a leg session or not)

Thats a sensitive area because the attachment of the tendon is so small. I would think that give it some time and if its just a strain then it should be fine after awhile.
However, if you continue to experience sharp pain and it won't go away then I recommend you seeing a doctor. I know this lady who had something similar and they found the pubic bone torn away at the attachment site of the tendon.

its weird though, i can still run and do legs but some movements feel like something is tearing. I don't know how this is possible. I am been out of the gym for about 3 weeks due to having my appendix out and when I come back, the pain is there the first time I strech.
You could have a small hernia.
