    This article recommends a fast concentric portion of the lifting tempo for hypertrophy. What do we know about the other 2 numbers (eccentric and pause)? It seems that keeping track of pause time as at least 1 second rather than X (meaning as fast as possible) is a good way to improve form by not bouncing the weight back up. But beyond this what is recommended for tempo?
