I found this interesting ... http://www.elitefts.com/documents/causal_friday.htm
Claims you shouldn't use a belt. I don't. Should I start using one?
I couldn't finish the whole thing. It was alright. I think the fact that he didn't reference any sources took away from his credibility so I don't know how much of that I believe, if any.

I think you should develop the patience to read more than a fifty word post at forums... Jim Wendler's stuff is usually pretty insightful and worth the time.Originally Posted by PhilsterT

Alright...sorry buddy. Maybe next time you could inform those who don't know who he is ahead of time.
You could start by reading the whole thing before trouncing the guy for not supplying references... I don't see a lot of people citing research around here, in musclemags, or in many bodybuilding books for that matter...
Good article indeed...
and Jim Wendler's squat is at 1003Lbs in the mean while.
That guy is insane.... and I agree with everything he says.
Good read, thought the last line was funny.

Yea rofl, end the how to squat raw article by telling people to go out and buy a squat suit. Deff a good read.... and the whole deal about bands made me think a little while.
I haven't read it yet. But I make it a point to read anything Wendler takes the time to write. Anyone who's interested in getting stronger should do the same.
