    Does pain relieving oils/herbs quicken recovery ?

    I was just wondering because a friend told me it helped with healing muscle strains/joint pain/arthritis and the likes (perhaps tendonitis). It's called Kwan Loong Oil. Is it just a pain killer or will it actually help with recovery time? Not muscle (doms), but rather tendonitis or something similar.

    Active ingredients: Methyl salicylate 35% and Menthol 16%. Inactive ingredients: Eucalyptus oil 3%, Light mineral oil 39% and spike lavender oil 7%.
