My standing barbell MP has been stuck at the same weight for a while.
So i've resorted to a little cheating when doing them, by using a teeny weeny bit of leg drive when hoisting the weight up.
Obviously I can lift a little more weight as a result, but is a little bit of cheating OK on militaries? Will it hamper my results?

Push presses are good.
Don't just use them to increase weight, but also practice tempo and power for extended periods of time.
no, you will go to weightlifting hell if you continue.
If your not increasing then try something else. Change the rep range or weight. Go heavier with less reps. That always works for me.
That is just fine. You will find that the technique will increase your strict press as well.Originally Posted by ufc2005

i love dynamic movements like the push press. But i like to mix them up as well, each will help the other. also you can switch back and forth to DB's

Well my friends think I'm ugly
I got a masculine face - Tom Waits.
I think strict dumbell shoulder press with barbell push press would be a very nice combo.
