Signs you have low body fat.

Ive seen my body fat drop over the past 6 months. Here are the signs that I notice from droping body fat.

You see your bones more in certain places, (collar bone, and the behind the knee, your v area below your adbs show more.)

    VEINS. eugh

When I open and close my hand I can see the bone movement more on my forearms and near my elbow

    Rib cage showing more

Does anyone have any nore signs that they notice? Im supose to be bulking but although ive put weight on ive dropped in body fat. Maybe this is some freaky genetics my pants are falling down some of them yet im the heaviest ive ever been 167lb. ALthough I think I could gain fater/more if I try and bulk harder over the winter.

    You know you're low-fat when...

How about veinage. Vascularity can be a pretty good indicator of bodyfat.

When you grip a bio-impedance device that measures bodyfat it gives you a low number...

No but seriously go jump into water and see how well you float. I am a lifeguard at my university's rec center and we always have to swim and practice saving people and I have a serious problem when I have to try to float and wade water for an extended period of time.

Edit: Just in general look at how defined your muscles are. Do you look like a ball and are things sagging or are there lots of acute angles? Can you see your abs (assuming you have decently sized ones)?

all interesting signs. Do big muscley arms act as the arm bands you wore when you was learning to swim. Or is it just your weight that helps you float or not float. This was why arnold prob didnt need a life jacket ever lol.

Muscle is a lot more dense than fat... people with lots of muscle and low bodyfat tend to sink as I did (not to flatter myself I'm not THAT muscular but my bodyfat was low enough)

My waist has gotten smaller since I got to college and yet I've put on 6 pounds since I got here in august. I attribute it to the fact that my body is still maturing.

    .

I don't know about low body fat, but I'm pretty sure a particular bone isn't supposed to move independently of any others. Are you saying that the bone actually moves, or it is the MUSCLE you are talking about?

When evil aliens come to earth to steal all the fat cells for a fuel supply and they corner you and go "This one's already been drained." then you know you have low bodyfat.

They're already here. McDonalds and Krispy Kreme are their creations. Currently only 60% of the populace is overweight. It's not efficient to move until that's at least 90.
