im currently interested into investing into an weight lifting belt specifically for deadlifts and squats. but deadlifts mainly. im 5'7", 194lb, over 20% bodyfat with a pretty thick gut (not beer belly, but just from being obese). my pant size is 36W/30L. what size would you recommend for my stats? if it helps, its an photo of me shown with my belly from last month: http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg i was standing at 197lb in that photo. im 194lb now.

are you planning to max out alot of doing alot of single rep sets? If you're not then i think it would be best to invest $50 in a dip belt
i plan to max out with it about every other week. but i still do my 5x5 routine.
i would go with a 5x5 routine this week, then next week i would do a 3x3 with a 1rm set. i switch it off every week for back day.
i was checking out apt's lineup of belts, opinions?
