The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    New Routine Suggestions.

Hi. First of all, I have been training off and on for the past 3 years. More off then I happy with, but it's in the past now.

I have been doing a basic Push/Pull/Legs routine the past 16 weeks and am looking for a new routine to start next week.

Anyone have some suggested routines that I can take a look at? I am interested if anyone has had success using a 5x5 routine, since that is the routine I am leaning towards now, if I get no better suggestions.

I am currently 190 lbs, high teen's bf% and bulking.

Any links to anything would be helpful. Thanks.

P.S. I am aware of the WBB routines and have some them in the past. I am looking for something different. I have also searched and could not find much of what I wanted.

What are your current goals? Size? Strength? Are you going to continue bulking or cut now?

I've used 5x5 routines before and found that it just didn't work for me.

    Gym PRs: Squat:635 Bench:560 Deadlift:495

I'd give the 5x5 a try if I were you. I liked it.

I'm doing 5x5 now and I love it. I also did Max-OT (www.ast-ss.com) for a while and I got good results...

I am going to continue to bulk, probably until March or until I get too fat.
    I mentioned that I am ~190lbs and 18% BF.

BG5150, can you post your split?

I think I may give 5x5 a try, I prefer lower reps usually, my form seems to break down when I get anywhere above 8 reps, no matter what the weight is.

I will also read Max-OT, I know that I looked into in a while ago, never did a cycle though.
