    loose skin, how long does it take to tighten it?

    i whent from 298 lbs down to 215 at my lowest in 10 months, now i bulked to 226 in the past couple months. i lost a crap load of weight in a short period of time by overtraining, sometimes i'd be in the gym for 4 hours( not talking lifting), and a good diet at 1800 cals a day. i have soooooo much loose skin it frustrates me to no end. my belly was so big and stretched that it just sags, it's a flat stomach, but it just sags, you can see the top 2 of the 6 pack, my arms are like roadmaps, yet it hangs how long does the tightening process take? any tips or tricks from a veteran? anyone else been in my position?

    You're young, so the skin WILL snap back, but it can lag months behind fat loss.

    Eat properly, plenty of protein, plenty of healthy fat. It really helps, not only for fat loss, but for your skin as well.

    here was an example of what i used to do on saturday,
    chest and triceps
    flat bench 3 sets 12 reps
    incln bench 3 sets 12 reps
    decline bench 3 sets 12 reps
    flat dumbell flys 3 sets 12 reps
    incln dumbell flies 3 sets 12 reps
    low cable crosses 3 sets 15-20 reps
    dumbell pullovers 3 sets 12 reps
    cable pull downs 3 sets 12 reps single arm
    cable push downs 3 sets 12 reps single arm
    cable overhead rope ext 3 sets 12 reps
    dips 3 sets 12 reps
    overhead single arm ext 3 sets 12 reps
    sit ups 3 sets 60 reps
    back extensions 3 sets 15 reps,oblique twists on back ext 3 sets 15 reps
    run at intense intervals, start at 6 mph, do that for 5 minutes jump to 8 mph do that for 2 minutes, jump to 12 mph, do that for 30 seconds, then repeat untill you've done it for an hour to a half hour.
    i ate 6 300 calorie meals a day,
    example of a day, 1 peanut butter and jelly sandwich
    2 cup of milk, piece of fruit
    3 protein shake
    4 steak, veggies milk
    5 protein shake
    6 protein shake, complex carbs
    bed.

    don't worry i did 2 months ago, that is why i'm bulking now. i gained a solid 10 pounds in the last 2 months. now i eat 4500 or so cals a day, yes a few of the pounds were fat, impossible for them not to be, but i have gained a bit of muscle, i can see it. i want to be 220 contest in a couple years. i overtrained like a mo'fo to make my body be in as much as a caloric def as possible you see. it is the only way short of starvation to lose this much weight this fast. and my leg day consists of squats 4 sets 8 reps 230 pounds(free not smith), and 4 sets of calf raises, as well as sumo deads at 4 sets 8 reps. i train chest with legs(used to be chest/ tri's, i like arms to have their own day). now chest goes like this
    flat bench 4 sets 8 reps
    inc 4 sets 8 reps
    dec 4 sets 8 reps
    low cable crosses 2 sets 15-20 reps for a good pump before i leave
    i can finish my workout in a nice 45 minutes at full superset intensity, and i speant 4 hrs in the gym because i have drive.

    I dropped 85lbs two years ago and still have a bit of loose skin on my abdomen. I ended up having to have about 2lbs of loose skin surgically removed, so that may be something you have to look into. My dad, also my doctor, told me that the only way the last bit of loose skin on my abdomen will ever tighten up is for me to fill it out with muscle, so I'm on my way to doing that. Not all loose skin will tighten up. You may have to get it removed. I recommend getting it done while asleep, and not how I did. They shot me up with 6 bottles of Lidacaine and I still spent half the surgery feeling them slice me open, cut away skin, and melt blood vessels with an iron. Fun stuff bro, let me tell ya.

    christ, i was afraid of plastic surgery, i don't want to have to get it done, i've never had any kind of surgery before does anyone know any other tricks, there's no products that ithgten skin?

    Hahaha yea it was worth it guys. I will say that pain doesn't have near the effect on me that it used to. My loose skin was really bad though. It hung in a pouch on my lower stomach and was never going to tighten up. No matter how much I lifted, I was always gonna have that ****er there, so I decided to get rid of it. Got over 200 stitches out of it hahaha. I love it.

    All those creams are pretty much bs. The only way will probably either be to get surgery or fatten back up.
