The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Disease or just a...problem?

Well...I guess this is going to be hard to explain, but..umm..

Whenever I get nervous or something, which is like..always, I start to sweat...I only sweat on my hands though, and sometimes on the bottoms of my feet, no where else. And it's not the temperature...I could be sweating while it's freezing cold outside and not be doing anything to tire myself.

Ugh..I dunno what else to say. I forgot. But anyways, thats the problem.

On a side note, I lost 20lbs in 2 months. Averaging 2lbs/week now. I'm happy. lol.

EDIT: I forgot...This isn't hereditary..No one on either side of my family has ever had this problem.

Sweating can mean ten billion different things. See a doctor. Doesn't sound like anything bad. 20 pounds in 2 months is a bit unhealthy though.

Botox would work, but it's damn painful....especially in treating palmar hyperhydrosis. Plus, it's only temporary.

Sympathectomy is another potential option that's permanent. Essentially the peripheral sympathetic nerves responsible for sweating are clipped endoscopically. The end result is no more sweating the distribution of those nerves.
    I know you're half-crazy, but I wish you'd go all the way.

^ dont get a sympathectomy, I had one for severe facial blushing and it didnt help, gave me a million other side effects and now I have a bad sweating problem aswell. The operation doesnt work and causes so many health problems.

It works if you find a good & experienced surgeon. I'd be interested to hear what other health problems you attribute to your surgery.
