Assuming one drinks over a gallon or two of water each day, and one is not currently prepping for a show or even competing at all, how low should one keep sodium intake?
I currently consume approximately1300-1500 mg per day, maximum, the majority of which comes from egg whites and one 3oz can of tuna.
Is there any danger to low-sodium intake? Furthermore, how much sodium is needed to cause noticeable water retention?
Also, has anyone tried a product called "No-Salt"? It's potassium chloride rather than sodium chloride. How would increased potassium intake affect an individual, especially with a relatively low sodium intake and significant water intake?
