    Warm-Up Sets

    I was wondering on warm-up sets how long should you break between sets if any?
    Age: 29
    Height: 5'10"
    Weight: 251 lbs.
    Experience: < 1 year
    Goal(s): Get to the point to train for strongman and eventually compete in a contest.
    (Gains in pure strength and size, could care less about cutting.)
    Role Model: ydrūnas Savickas

    Wait as long as you have to until you're ready for the next one. For the warm up sets, that's generally as long as it takes you to change the weight on the bar.

    Exactly right on the compounds. Those are your power exercises, treat them that way.
