    Can you see improvement?

    Hey I'm gona post some pics of my lats and I want you guys to please tell me if you see a difference in pictures, they are different poses but i dont think that makes too much of a difference. just started working lats seriously like 3 weeks ago.

    I don't really see much improvement, a bit yes.

    You should do a proper lat spread pose though.

    Thanks to built, you should: put your hands on your hips, stick your shoulders out, and "hug a tree" with your elbows.

    does "hug a tree" mean stick elbows as far in as i can or stick them as far out as i can?

    what he said is backwards. hug a tree with your shoulders, stick your elbows out. Hands don't have to go on hips to get a good spread, either, but it helps tighten up your triceps.
