    Help avoiding stretch marks

A friend of mine is getting stretch marks pretty bad near his pecs and shoulders and on his back. Right now hes eating just over maintenance and taking creatine and weightgainer. He wants to keep lifting but doesn't want the stretch marks to get any worse. Do you think it would be a good idea for him to stop taking the creatine for a while or to cut his cals?

    Thanks.

His muscles are growing faster than his skin can accomodate for, thus causing stretch marks. They are battle wounds to show progress. Eliminating creatine is not going to prevent and/or lessen the stretch marks. Creatine bloat is simply not what is causing his stretch marks. He could try cocoa butter or some extremely high IU pure vitamin E oil.

Use the search. I know stretch marks have been discussed before.

I have some pretty nasty stretch marks in the same area. Cocoa butter does the trick like no other.

Cocoa butter and tanning WILL HELP...and eventually they'll fade over time, but they will never completely go away

yep, they turn from purple to white over time and become less noticeable, but they won't disappear.
