I recently went to the gym to do some bicep workout. I did my workout everything was fine. I went home and the next morning i couldnt extend my arm passed a certain length. the pain was on the inside of my elbow and was really tight. Does anyone know what happened and how to preven this by warm ups. thanks.

One set of curls a week is more then enough direct bicep work assuming your doing compound lifts like you should be.
you probably just over stretched it near a attachement point. Make sure you rest it to avoid further damage. Nothing serious though. If it was serious your bicep would be non-existent. OUCH!!!
Many people overtrain biceps. Once a weak is fine. Your biceps assist in many back exercises, dead lifts, ext. They get a lot of work without concentrating on them specifically.

Try stretching your biceps gently for at least 1-2 minutes after your workout.

i think it could just be doms. Make sure ure getting enough protein and dnt worry about it they get better
weight 202 - (bf around 14%)
Bench - 286
deadlift - new pr on the 23/12/06 190 kilo (430 pound)
squat - 264 ATF
200 pound at 10% bf by next summer

How many bicep exercises were you doing? It's possible to overdo it! More sets does not always mean bigger results.
How long has it been since you went to the gym, and or did any type of bicep work?
Usually that type of soreness doesn't just happen if you had been lifting on a regular basis.
5 mins of cardio before WO... gets blood pumping though entire body...
and 5 mins of cardio after WO.. burns off lactic acid build up..
and 5 mins streching after WO - never before - lengthens the muscles
