Lifted all summer for football season, didn't touch a weight during the season, and when football season ended, i didnt start lifting until about a month later. That was 2 weeks ago, and I have been lifting again. I am back to where I was beginning of summer... will I be back to my end of summer self?
P.S. This summer was my first time lifting so lots of beginner gains,
bench went from 140 to 170
squat from 200 to around 230 (estimate)
deadlift 225 to about 250 (estimate)
Will this lifting have any effect on where I am going to be in a couple of weeks?
Also, for people who play football, is there a good way to stay strong during the season?
