The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Would You Use Gear If???

    Let's take this hypothetical situation:

Gear is still illegal to possess, however it can be dispensed by a medical facility without a perscription.

For example: you go down to the BB clinic where a steroid physician sets up a "healthy" cycle and workout program for you, administers you your shots, checks your blood work periodically, takes care of cycle off and anti-estrogen therapy, creates a diet plan, etc.

    would you gear up?

since i started building so early at 15, i will probably reach the point where natural gaining becomes very very hard sooner than the average lifter.

when i do, and im still feeling like more size, i will definetely gear up

    probably not.

I enjoy the life style bodybuilding brings. I enjoy the fact that it takes a lot of dedication and determination to get to your goals. I enjoy going to the gym. I enjoy feeling better about myself when I come home.

This is what drives me. Its not so to get increadably big. I am not saying that it doesnt take alot of dedication and determination to get to your goals on roids; however, my main goal isnt to get huge.

I dont think I would do it.

i have a question for all of you guys. is it just me or do people on roids have muscles that look abnormal? meaning they kinda look lumpy? or it might be their skin.

seems very unlogical that a roider would have different shaped muscle than a natural. after all roids only boost the hypertrophy process, not actually change it.

and i learned on this site that muscle shape is genetic and can not be changed by training, diet or drugs.
only the size or efficiency can *is being a good wbb member*

i am saying that a person who uses roids will grow muscles that are slightly different if he didnt use it. it might be the skin. I know for a fact that the skin looks totally different when you are on roids. it looks very thin and unhealthy to me. some have spots on it, now if thats from roids or not i am not sure.

well for me, I started so late in life that the Idea of steriods
isnt so bad, but speaking as an x-addict I will never use needles again, so if it comes in tabs I would, but nothing otherwise!
steriods are nothing more than suped up supplements,
we use supplements to boost our gains and cut our fat levels
but when it comes to something that really works people get standoffish, to me steriods are just hard to find supplements that work,

No. Because for some reason or another, it seems to make fun of what I work so hard for.

That's not to judge anyone who uses, provided you're 18 or older.

My decision is the same as yours. I don't compete, so I have no method of justifying usage. Additionally, I feel that usage cheapens my experience. Sure, even a single cycle would put me well above what most average people would ever achieve in the gym. But to me, that doesn't feel right. Especially knowing that I can achieve all I'd ever need/want naturally.

To me, the potential health risks aren't worth anything I'd gain from them.
