Today I worked out with some army guys and they made us do pushups, ab work and cardio. And it popped into my head that I could do these things on my off days so I dont feel so damn lazy. The next thing that popped into my head was about my muscles healing. Does calisthenics such as pushups, pullups and crucnhes get in the way of your muscles healing themselves?

Any article or simple answer would be great. Thx
