    Stiff legged deadlift

I saw a website that says how to do it:
    http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/...gDeadlift.html

Is the guy in the picture really doing it correctly, it seems his back curls alot is it suppose to be like that or kept arched?

    Any help would be good.

    ^That is TERRIBLE form.

    This one is better:

Ass OUT, knees softly bent, strong arch in back, weight directly over your feet, drag the weight up and down your body.

yea your back rolls when you keep you legs absolutely straight. To keep your back flat you can bend your kees slightly.

    Or something like this...

They're calling it a straight back stiff leg, but it's actually neither - it's closer to a RDL than anything.

    I do 'em like RDLs.

As Built's already said, stick your ass right the hell out. Everything pretty much follows.

Oh, and oh god how my glutes and hams hurt from yesterdays RDLs.

make sure you keep form and don't round out your back. If you notice your back is rounding out don't come down so far. Not everyone is as flexible as in that clip.

I thought the distinction with the RDL is that you don't sit it down. If not is there a name for it?

    Sit what? The Barbell?

You may be talking about rack pulls/half deadlifts/rack deadlifts. It's a deadlift that starts just below your knees.

    Sit the barbell down.

When I do what I call a RDL it's just like a SLDL but I don't lower the bar all the way down.
