    4 day split critique

    Routine is set for mass gains. I have previously neglected leg work, trying to hit key areas twice a week. Had it in mind for a 12 week period. Kind of a noobie, but been lifting for a little. Not big by any means.
    Day 1:
    5x5 Squats
    5x5 Calf Raises
    5x5 hammer curl
    3x8 BB curl
    Day 2:
    5x5 flat BB benchpress
    3x8 incline DB benchpress
    5x5 tricep pulldown
    5x5 dumbell shoulder press
    5x5 laterall DB raises
    Day 3: Off
    Day 4:
    5x5 deadlift
    5x5 pullups
    5x5 hammer curl
    3x8 BB curl
    Day 5:
    5x5 Squats
    5x5 Calf Raises
    5x5 tricep pulldown
    5x5 dumbell shoulder press
    5x5 laterall DB raises
    Day6: Off
    Day 7: Off

    5x5 DL then 5x5 Squat the next day? That would hurt me.

    Have a look at Baby Got Back; it's a 4 day upper/lower 5x5 type program that works VERY well. I can speak from experience. It's a sticky in the 'Bodybuilding' forum.
