    Bulking, A limit?

    I'm 5'6" 15 years old I bulked up to 178 pounds last I checked. Is it possible my body no longer wants to grow? Because I'm seeing very little change in weight. I'm almost considering starting my cut early due to halted process.

    Also considering my age is there a limit my body is giving itself? I'm just frusterated and need some council or some words of encouragement.

    Your only 15 man, unless your like me and stopped growing vertically in the 5th grade then you should be good for a few more inches of height and more bodyweight. Just give it time.

    Muscle requires calories to maintain itself.
    Your body now needs even more calories to gain.

    There is no special 'limit'. If you're not gaining any weight you just need to eat more.

    Nope...lol I'm EXACTLY like you haven't grown in years. and I'm damn proud of it.

    And thanks guys I just needed a kick in the ass the cut starts after the arnold thank god. march 31st. So around that time youll be noticing me snooping around for tips on cutting.

    Don't know what there is to be proud of really, or not be proud of for that matter, but ok.

    Eat more though. You WILL gain weight.

    As you start to gain weight you gotta eat a little more to gain, ive been eating the same stuff but my bulk and now that ive gotten in the 220's its just been maintaining. Add some peanutbutter sandwhiches to your diet

    yeah man just gotta eat more, for cutting there isnt a difference, lift the same and just eat less.

    If I were 'fat' maybe I'd consider it, but if it was just softness, I'd recomp or something.

    However, I do know that being fat is in no way fun.

    Everyone has a genetic limit for gainining muscle. However, there is no limit for gaining fat. So if you want to weigh 600 pounds, it's possible...it just won't be muscle.

    Body recomposition. Hypothetically speaking, take a 180lb guy at 15%, and with the correct diet/training/supps/time, turn him into a 180lb guy at 10%. In short, gaining muscle and losing fat simultaniously.

    Recomp is also possible with improper diet and lack of exercise/weightlifting knowledge. I did it for 3 years. Stayed at 150lbs, greatly improved musculature, added a good amount of muscle, dropped some fat, stayed the same weight.

    A tbs of olive oil here and there is great to add some calories--120 cals per serving. Just don't go crazy with it right away or your bowels will hate you for it.
