DE reps 225 x 45 at NFL combine

    that's impressive

Ohio State defensive end/linebacker Mike Kudla's 45 reps on the bench press (225 lbs) ties a record set in 2000 by Norwegian strongman Leif Larsen. Larsen, who was a defensive tackle at UTEP and played 2 seasons with the Buffalo Bills (6th round pick), is currently a boxer in Europe.

It's been said he did it 52(?) times in college.

That is impressive. I have a friend who is a bit smaller than I am (I think he weighs about 185lbs) and he can rep 225 21 times. Oddly enough, he can only max 245.

Vernon Davis, TE out of Maryland, did 37 reps @ 225lbs. And he ran 4.37 in the 40 yard dash. He's 6'3", 250lbs. I've never seen a human being with that combination of speed, strength & size. A true freak.

Not too mention these things: He finished atop the tight end group in both the broad jump (10-8) and vertical jump (42 inches), while also impressing with his time in the three-cone drill (7.0 seconds) and the short shuttle (4.17 seconds).

i have heard of Ronnie Coleman doing 225 for 75 reps! also doing 315 for 45 reps or something like that. I did a search online but couldn't find anything. Now that is impressive.
