    I'm a new man today

    I've been doing sqauts on the smith machine since I've started to get into bodybuilding which has been like 3 months or so now. I finally did the free weight squats (used to do them back in the day for HS). They felt great, and I didn't really have to go down in weight much. I was doing 255x 6 on the smith machine squats, I was able to do 245 x 5 times today on free weights. Very suprised since this is the first time I've done them in years. Felt like a new man

    I never felt the need to switch to free weights before because my quads are by far my best body part, but I felt like a girl using the smith machine.

    That's great to hear! Squats are bar far my most enjoyable exercise and I couldn't imagine doing them anyway but with a barbell on my back.

    Not ATF but below parrallel, I find when I go ATF I tend to bounce at the bottom which isn't good at all.

    The only other person I've seen doing ATFs at my gym is my husband.

    haha i will, I'm currently cutting so I'm fairly happy where they are at now, Can't wait to start repping with 3 plates on each side....hell yea.
