Overheard on a Bus (part II)

Today I had the distinct pleasure of hearing two kids arguing about the middle east and oil.

Things were going fine until one said, with full certainty, that it didn't matter in the end because sooner or later the US would fund the space program and find all kinds of oil in asteroids and on Mars and stuff.

    ... ... ... but... oil is...

    Sigh.

"We're whalers of the moon... we carry a harpoon... but there ain't no whales... so we tell tall tales... and sing this whaling tune." - Futurama

It just popped into my head when I heard that declaration and has been rattling around since.

Didn't you guys know that asteroids are powered by oil? They also carry around hot babes and lots of bling that P. Diddy is stashing (for tax purposes)

As far fetched as that oil-on-asteroids idea sounds, I pray to God that it never happens.
