To get as big as possible:

    1) Lift like a monster.
    2) Eat until you puke.
    3) Go to sleep.
    4) If physique does != "big as possible," go to 1.

Whats wrong with a protein shake? Its just protein.... it doesnt mean all of a sudden you are on steroids because you get some of your daily protein in liquid form.

At 15, making sure you stay in english class might help.

There is nothing not natural about PROTEIN shakes. It's about as natural as chicken or beef. Drink up.

One of two possibilities here: Bad form or your lower back is weak compared to your legs.
    5'6"
    160lbs
    480x1 deadlift
    315x5 squat (atf)
    260x1 bench

And the solution to both is: reduce the weight you're squatting, watch your form, and get more accustomed to slinging weight on your back. Increase weight when you can do so with good form and safely, not when your ego tells you to.

Don't ask for a lighter load. Ask for a stronger back.

You are more than likely hurting your back on Squats from a few things. Are you wearing a belt during the heavy sets? Are you taking in as much air as possible and staying completely solid during the entire ROM? Are you keeping an arch in your back and your shoulders pulled back tight against the bar? Bar position on your back could be an issue and so could stance. If I were you, I'd hit up some low box squats (3-5" below parallel) for about 4-6 weeks until you are comfortable sitting way back and low (find them here http://www.elitefts.com ).

youve got you work cut out for you if your lookin to play linebacker for a highschool, a good one is expected to be atleast 5 8 and weigh over 200, i wouldnt worry about losing weight but more on fixing what you have and try to remain the same but drop bf. And as for remaining natural, a protein shake or even creatine wouldnt change that as its stuff found naturally in foods like steak and etc and majority of the players in highschool are on those.

Agreed. And as for your lower back pain. Do back extentions. Mine used to hurt when I squatted and it was not my form. My lower back was just weak compared to my legs. Thus back extentions will close this gap.

And I know nothing about football so I can't help you there.
