    awful workout today

    it was my shoulder day today, but my gym buddy couldnt make it. Usually i warm up with 17.5kg dumbells for shoulder press, and then go straight into 45kg x 3. I thought seems as i had no spotter id take it easy and only go upto the 40kg db's . I couldnt even knock out 1 rep? i was pretty physced when i went in, only thing thats different recently is ive started doing gardening jobs and it tires me out. I was knackered y'day by 1030pm. Do yuo think this could be the reason for my crappy lifts? just pure lack of energy? i just hope im not losing strength!

    We all have off days. You could be tired. Or your spotter may be providing more assistance than you think. Hopefully you were just tired.

    the only thing my spotter does is hand me both the db's up. I had to throw em up myself today .

    Yeah I had a crap shoulder workout yesterday too. It was terrible.

    I had no pre-workout nutrition and the room was absolutely freezing!!
