Just wondering how many egg whites I should eat a day, and when I should eat them. I usually have 1 cup of Better N' Eggs, as a scrambler or omelet, after I work out. Any suggestions?
i like to eat my eggs in the morning usually, 8 egg whites 2-3 yolks

Thanks for the responses. What makes 8 such a magic number for egg whites? Just wondering. Shouldn't you take it easy on the egg yolks? Aren't those high in cholesterol?
Eat as many as it takes to get your required grams of protein.
I generally use half the yolks.
Dietary cholesterol is such a small component of your total cholesterol it's hardly worth considering.

My husband eats 7 whole eggs daily. So far, so good.
I get 100g of protein per day from egg white beaters... I'll throw in a real egg or 2 on lower-carb days. Eggs are the best source of protein out there.

The reason there are so many conflicting reports is because people's bodies are very different. Eat eggs, whole eggs if you want the calories, get your cholosterol tested. Try to keep animal fats low, and a couple of months from now, get your cholestoral tested again.

i have 2 on sundays with my oatmeal but i dont know what the resturant uses, its a good portion, i wish i had time in the AM to make eggwhites and oatmeal, but that probley to much food for my lard ass.

If you're looking for cheaper eggwhites in bulk, check out my thread here(http://www.wannabebigforums.com/showthread.php?t=77056). I am about to try the powdered form, which I think will go fine ( just add water ). Oh and by the way, I dont work for either of the companies listed in my thread. I was just searching for a cheaper alternative to buying them in the store. Hope that helps some people!
