The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

A little belated, but really nice job on those hack squats! How low are you bringing the weight down on those?
A child does not learn to squat from the top down. In other words, he does not suddenly make a conscious decision one day to squat. Actually, he is squatting one day and make the conscious decision to stand. Squatting precedes standing in the developmental sequence. This is the way a child's brain learns to use the body as the child develops movement patterns. Therefore, a child is probably crawling, rocks back into a squatting position with the back completely relaxed and the hips completely flexed, and stands when he has enough hip strength. This approach makes a lot of sense and can be applied to relearning the deep squat movement if it is lost. -Gray Cook

offhegoes03 - Yes it bloody was an adventure haha and Yes tesco is great hehe. Its my third home
    Always buying **** from there!!

Clawhammer - lmao. Well it was slow motion cuz she was feeling sick, and i was kanckered so it was kind of a falling into each others arms hehe. I soon perked up tho, wink wink nudge nudge....

Sensei - Cheers man . Well im tryingto bring them down as far as possible, (close to paralell), but im jus finding it a little difficult to go really low. But i am going near paralell. Any ways i can go even lower? without the weight resting on the floor.

    TSQ Challenge 2

    Workout 1
Do 21 consecutive "thrusters" (deep front sqauat to push-press) with dumbbells totaling 1/2 your body weight.

BW = 156lbs (as of this morning)
Half = 78lbs (so would be two 39lb dumbells)
SO i just rounded it up and used 40's instead! hehe.

    Man this workout was killer.

13 reps of 40's (couldnt manage another one)
    *quick rest*
    6 reps of 40's
    *quick rest*
4 reps of 40's (so I got 23 reps with two very small rests in between sets) Great exercise!
I really wanna get those 21 reps up tho!! hehe

    *3 mins rest*

    10 reps of 40's
    *very quick rest*
    2 reps of 40's

Fookin hell! this was serious killer! lol
warmed me up damn well for workout 2!

    Workout 2

Do as many rounds as possible

    20 Press Ups
20 Squats (atf) *just to hurt myself more*

    in 10 minutes.

Totaled 5 rounds + 20 press ups and 15 squats.
    Total Press ups = 120
    Total Squats = 115
    Total reps = 235

Awesome workout! Thighs are shattered after workout 1 and 2! And triceps and chest are huge! Chest is at least another two inches thicker pumped full of blood! lol.

hehe. Ur bench is probs better than mine man u can bench ur BW so thats all good .

Just got back from an absolutley huge bike ride!!! Man are my legs feeling it now!!
15 miles in total!! Damn, was tough as ****!!

house to merry hill - 3 miles
Cylcing around random places - 5 miles
merry hill to tesco - 2.3 miles
tesco to home - 5 miles

Went to tesco to give them my CV. While i was there I bought a 6 pint bottle of milk, to drink on the way home so I wasnt totally burned out of calories and energy! Damn, i cant believe how cardio fit i am. 15 miles is pretty impresive for my standards. And 3/4 of it was uphill!
So now jus drinkin the hell out this 6 pint bottle of milk.
    nearly halfway done with it.

I mean my lats are pretty damn strong, and i can do a one arm pullup with my right and almost with my left. Lat pulldowns ive trained on from 150 - 250lbs so its all good
