Ah, towel pullups.... Nice job and thanks for reminding me what a great exercise it is!
A child does not learn to squat from the top down. In other words, he does not suddenly make a conscious decision one day to squat. Actually, he is squatting one day and make the conscious decision to stand. Squatting precedes standing in the developmental sequence. This is the way a child's brain learns to use the body as the child develops movement patterns. Therefore, a child is probably crawling, rocks back into a squatting position with the back completely relaxed and the hips completely flexed, and stands when he has enough hip strength. This approach makes a lot of sense and can be applied to relearning the deep squat movement if it is lost. -Gray Cook

Nice workouts good! I love the overhead work, looks like our strength is pretty comparable cept that your strength to bodyweight ratio is alot better The form on those dumbell raises is exactly what I've been using for dumbell upright rows, great exercise.

Cheers man! And yup, our OH strength is pretty similar. But im very annoyed at my oh strength at the moment.
And I think those dumbell raises are a lot lot less harmful to my rc's than doing upright rows.

Ahh yes and one more thing, which I havnt mentioned for a couple of weeks. Dont know why.
Is that I was doing Dumbell snatches a while ago, and set a new PR! I snatched a 92lb dumbell! hehe. And I was so close to getting the 97lb dumbell up!

Those towel pullups have to be tough. Nice work bro.
Best way to cheat on deadlifts...

Stand there for a few minutes, then pace back and forth a lot, huff and puff, wait until everybody's looking. Approach the bar. Back off. Approach it again. Back off. Get some water. Chalk up. Approach the bar again. Then spray some more chalk around. Wait until people start losing interest. When nobody's looking, pick it a little off the floor, and slam it down. Jump up and yell "LIGHT WEIGHT BABY". Then give high fives all around. - Belial

Really solid pull-ups, Chris... a note on using towel-pull-ups... go to a gym and use their towels. That way, when their invariably rip, it's not your towel.
