That's what he told me. Whenever you can, Goodwinn, definitely invest in more plates, though. It will be money well spent!

yup guys. me low on the moolah! But all hope is not lost. Theres a cash converters near me where i can buy second/third/fourth hand weight lifting gear from. So hopfuly i cud pick up 4 or 5 45lb plates for around £40-£50 (73$ - 91$).

When i have that kind of spare cash I'll definatley invest in more iron!
WIll be money well spent Guido!

    Olympic Workout Day

Im gonna stick some olympic lifts in from now on aswell. I really like the OH squat and feel my flexibility will improve from doing olympic lifts!

    Workout

    OH Squats

    Bar (22) x 10
    66 x 6
    88 x 3
    110 x 2 (shakey)

Didnt wanna go any heavier. It really isnt worth the risk is it? I just didnt feel confident putting 132 up again. Pleased though, these will improve with time and deidcation.

    Hang Cleans

    110 x 6 (no squatting)
    119 x 2 (no squatting)
    119 x 3 (down to below paralell)
    128 x 3 (same)
    132 x 2 (same)
    132 x 2 (same)

sweating alot after these. Form definatley needs improving. I didnt really use my feet as much as i shud. I didnt jump. Ill get better, and these pathetic numbers will increase.

    Full Clean

    132 x 4
    141 x 4
    150 x 1
    150 x 1
    158 x 1 (BW hang clean)

Wow i was really really sweating after all of this!
and taking a leaf out of Stump's book. Some cheat bi curls to finish off lol

    Cheat Bi Curls

    110 x 3

All in all superb workout!!Hang cleans are awesome! Cant wait to do these again!

nice job man.. I'd really love to do Oly lifts, but I don't want to learn them wrong and have ****ty form/technique. I guess it all comes with practice, but I'd prefer to learn from someone who can do them well so that I know my technique is good.

    thanks
and u dont need to find a trainer/someone who does Oly lifts to learn proper technique. Watch some videos on youtube, google video of some pro oly lifters doin cleans, snatches, and jerks.

I never had anyone teach me how to do Oly lifts, i just start low and gradually put bigger numbers up. For example. next workout all my oly lifts im adding 2kg to.

And if u wanted to, u cud record a video clip of your form on Oly lifts and post it on WBB. Id be more than happy to help you with ur Oly lifting form as would many other more expereinced oly lifters on the forum. Don't not do something because yout think ur form will be bad. Everybodays form is not 100% the first time they try an exercise, which is why u start light

No go do some hang cleans! lol
