    I am still alive!! lol Honest.

    Me had a little break from weights hehe. Spent the weekend with Hannah! Been fantastic! Took her for an indian meal on saturday night, we both went to a house party on sunday nite (wasnt c. good, got chucked out at 9.30pm!! lol so we just pissed around the park until midnight), and weve been trying not to roast in this blazing uncomfortable heatwave that is sweaping on us at the moment! damn its murder to try and sleep. Especially when theres two of us in the bed creating loads more body heat! lol

    I did get some press ups and tri work in at Hannah's before i went to bed last night, just to give my chest and tri's some serious pumpage!!
    And one more thing. Ive been eating like an oxe the past few days! lol. Lots of frankferters, burgers, and pork sausages! and salmon fish cakes! mmmmm


    and one last thing. Ive been pissing around recently with my weighing scales, just seeing how strong my grip was on them (with both hands togethor). I keep doing it everyday. And my grip is getting stronger. I gripped 13 stone 7 the other day which I was quite proud of hehe.

    Today just did some
    Weighted chin ups

    10 X BW chinups (warm up)

    BW + 48 x 6 (easy) (but felt it in my abs a little)
    BW + 70 x 3 (easy, but foot slipped and dropped dumbell lol)
    BW + 116 x 0.5 (dumbell collapsed, the weights fell off one side and clattered the floor lol) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v528p8tgjh0
    BW + 116 x 0.5 (halfway)
    BW + 116 x 0.5 (halwayf agen) gave up on trying to get it lol.

    nice job man.. it was a little tough to see how high you got up with the one rep, but it looks good. hah you need to get yourself a dip belt and a real chin up bar. I think you might need to rob a bank or something so you can get more weights, a squat rack, etc. hah that's crazy how you have to use that one shorter bar across the roof beam.

    i got my chin higher than the beam. Soz bout the video. not the best.

    And yes I NEED TO ROB A BANK!

    lol, rows and pullups are a diff leauge my friend, i will try just for you, but im using hammer grip. ive gotten 50 x 5 so we will see.

    Well i know rows and pullups are diff, but still workin the lats.
    hammer grip is fine. As judicator of the challenge all grip styles are allowed, hammer grip might be the best one to use to get higher numbers.

    so u have got 50 x 5. So u cud definatly get 70 x 1 i wreckon man

    Good numbers to pull up...although I haven't seen the video, you probably need to find a belt to add weights onto.

    yer definatley. I do have a weight lifting belt, maybe somehow i could add plates to that using rope or strong string. Cuz using a dumbell is so damn arkward. I wreckon i could do more weight if it was around my wesit and not between my legs. Cuz i havnt got 100% focus on the pullup then.

    Oh man. Well you know how i said I wanted to add 2kg to every set on oly lifts. Well i did that plus more! hehe. Im so pleased with how todays workout went. Im ****ing sweatin like a jew whos lost his money.

    well on with the numbers. (and videos)

    OH Squat practise *getting more confident with these. Will take time though*

    92 x 3 (shakeing crap all over the place, shorts were too tight, i shud just do these naked lol)

    Hang Cleans

    Where I have really improved!

    132 x 3 (lost it startin 4th rep)
    136 x 4
    140 x 2
    154 x 1 (PR!) (I was feeling strong)

    So damn pleased with hang cleans. I know 158 isnt that high. But I did do a hell of a lot of volume on these.

    By the time I got to these I was sweatin buckets. Good job for the 1.5kg of water i had next to me!

    very pleased with my cleans! i couldnt believe it when i got 78kg up, and nearly 80kg!! Just to think what i would have got if i hadnt raped myself with hang cleans before. I'll be trying for that 80kg (176lb) clean next OLY day!

    The belt I'm speaking of is specifically for pullups where there is a chain and you loop the plates through...I actually tried to find a link but was unsuccessful at least for now. Ace workout Mike.

    cheers man! yer i know i shud get a belt with a chain to attach weigh to. I posted a link to one for someone else on this forum yesterday. i can get them foor around £15- £20
