Yeah, seriously, screw the squats, those rows are freakin awesome. The squats will come, especially after you get a rack and don't need to clean up every single set.

Damn bro, that's some ridiculous lat strength on those front raises... and is that a faux-hawk I see? Man, across the pond, you guys and your fascination with David Beckham, I swear... haha just kidding, I have one, too.

    Friday 14th July 2006

Was meant to be Chest/bi/tri day, and i was gonna use my winter sled to use as a bench for db benching. But its a wooden one and is felt like it would snap when I lay on it with some 72's. So after that i just thought oh screw it ill do some Db Snatches lol. But ill start from the beginning anyways.

    Workout

    DB bench press on Sled

    28's x 10
    50's x 6
72's x 6 (these were patheticly easy, but sled was about to snap so i dropped weight quickly and jumped off the bastard lol. Gonna have to find an alternative to the sled lol

One handed Db snatches (left and right)

    50 x 1
    54 x 1
    58 x 1
    62 x 1
    72 x 1
    76 x 1
    80 x 1
    85 x 1 (PR for left hand!)
    89 x 1 (PR for left hand!)
    94 x 1 (PR matched for right)
    94 x F (left)
    94 x F (left)
    94 x F (left) gave up lol
    97 x F (right)

One arm dumbell front raises (each arm)

    50's x 6
    58's x 5

Pleased with these. and i was so damn angry I pushed myself for more db snatches!

One arm dumbell snatches (each arm)

    58's x 10
    58's x 10

    Nice snatches man.

Careful with the elbow bend when you're doing those shrugs. That's a sure way to tear a bicep.

*added in some things i didnt have time to post earleir*

Stump - Thnks man i do try and find new ways of benching lol.

CoCoa - Ta man! hehe, well like i said above, i do try

    emjlr3 - Thank u!

drew - Cheers dude! and yer i noticed i wasnt locking arms fully when doing shrugs. (which is why i took a video to monitor form) Form always goes a little tatty after 24 reps of 100kg. Thnks for stopping by man. Means alot.

Natetaco - Hey thanks man. And too late. I had a 94lb dumbell come crashing down on me quite some time ago. Was not fun lol. Lost total control and the weight just skimmed off my shoulder blade and onto the floor. Lucky escape

i like your workouts man, they are very old school and basic and look vry effective.

once i get my lower back together i go back to doing cleans and snatches for my upper back they work well on mine, ima have to try those one arm dumbell snatches they look crazy by the time i think to try them its to late and im beat
