*Tried good mornings for the first time. No Joy. I need more practise. It hurt way too much and not just the pain but i thought i was doing them wrong. The bar was like on the back of my neck. That aint normal is it?

    Good Mornings

    66 x 8
66 x 8 both these sets felt arkward, light and dangerous so i upped the weight lol.
110 x 4 *pfft **** it* lol. Ill give these another go next Back/leg day

    66 x 12

    154 x 4 (pain on 154 was excruciating)
220 x 2 (PR!)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sto3hkQ1Rqw Should have gone deeper and still look a little like good mornings. Ill get the form right soon though. Im jus pleased with squatting 100kg
    220 x 2

I was pissed off at the pain on 154lbs so I thought. "Well If im gonna be in pain, I may aswell be in pain doing heavy weight not light ass weight" So i loaded on 220

I need to get started with some good mornings myself, the bar should be sitting lower than neck area on traps if I am not mistaken....this was an excellent session throughout, those were some of the more difficult or primary movements.

Also Just thought I'd Post an update on my Measurements.

Height: 5ft 6 (not too sure. might be a lil taller maybe half an inch lol.)
Weight: *unknown* Batterys gone in scales. It hovers between 75kg and 80 though So imm gonna say 165lbs to be safe. which is 75kg

    Neck: 16 Inches
Upper Arms: 13's relaxed, 15's flexed (wow 2 inch increase while flexing)
    Forearms: 12 Right, 11.5 Left
    Chest: 40
Wrist: 6.5's (absolutley tiny!) But makes my forarms look huge so
    Waist: 31.5
    Thighs: 23's
Calves: 14's (damn small) lol. Dont look stupidly small tho.
    Ankles: 9.5's

BF: havnt a clue (never had one done before) Not too high i'd hope.
So all in all im quite happy with my measuremnts. Chest hasnt grown at all. Well it wouldnt ,I havnt been doing benching lol. Arms have grown an Inch since the last time I checked so thats ok. My BW is going up too which is good. Targets are to increase everything by an Inch for next time I check
    expect for waist of course
    Dman wrists are too small

Mike, this is good s*** man! You're in pain at 154 and go to 220... Good stuff!!! Congratulations on getting the squats going, you will put numbers in no time. Realy great for a first timer!

I prefer to use pins that are a little lower, so loading/unloading the BB is easier. Can you adjust them? I'm not sure about your stance, using a wider stance is better for your form. Finally, for the GMs put the BB low on your traps, so when your bending it won't roll on your neck and hurt you.

Whats going on man? I figured after getting the new toy you'd be hitting it extra hard.

I will lower the pins. It gets a little silly and dangerus calf raising the barbell onto the pins.

    Chris - Ahh hehe

DD - Thnks man! my 4 month applying and searching is over. Thank god lol. And with the 20% discount I can buy 20kg plates brand new at £16 ($30). Which works out at about £0.80 per kilo ($1.50). Not too bad.

BigCorey - Hey thanks man!! It will probably always be like that. Or at least. Me Rowing as much as I squat

P.s. Should be getting 2 x 10kg (22lb) plates today. I have a little bit of cash to splash . When I get paid end of september I'll probs get some 20kg's but i'll wait and see. At least with 20kg (44lbs) of extra weight, It will put more of a challenge on things.

Hope I convey this correctly but when doing the shoulders presses you need to keep your traps on lock, try not to consciously use them at all while doing the movement - it will bring the neck in more which is not always gonna work.

Good stuff here, like seeing somebody take on forearms.
