The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Just thought I'd add a video of when I deadlifted 171.5kg (377lbs) at work the other week. It was a bit rushed due to not wanting to be caught by manager! lol. But i doubt he would have said anything anyways. I swear i could rape 180kg now! lol

form not too good. But the weight was up. I could smoke this now! My legs came up too early but whatever! lol

Only one month until saw 3

BTW have you seen Hard Candy? That's another f'd up movie by the same studio that makes the saw series. If you liked Saw I wholeheartedly recommend it!

The lockout on that 377 was a bit short. Maybe hold it there for another few seconds, that way no one can doubt your lift

Still, strong lifting, that is 42lbs more than I can dead....lol

Wow! That video is hilarious! You, a sporting goods store employee, looking around nervously, placing the camera all stealthily, quickly pulling 377... Talk about maximizing every opportunity!

    You didn't lock that out.

You're looking much beefier these days.
A child does not learn to squat from the top down. In other words, he does not suddenly make a conscious decision one day to squat. Actually, he is squatting one day and make the conscious decision to stand. Squatting precedes standing in the developmental sequence. This is the way a child's brain learns to use the body as the child develops movement patterns. Therefore, a child is probably crawling, rocks back into a squatting position with the back completely relaxed and the hips completely flexed, and stands when he has enough hip strength. This approach makes a lot of sense and can be applied to relearning the deep squat movement if it is lost. -Gray Cook

Great dead! Went up easily, but as said your lockout was weak.
