Kong - Thanks bud, well I'm not too far off a 100kg push press. Still got over 2 weeks to pull that out of the bag!

Mac - Thank you as well mate! I don't really like the deadlift exercise that much but it does feel good to see that I'm getting so much stronger!

So max targets for end of 2013 are:

    Big 3 total: 450kg
    Deadlift - 200kg (only 20kg away but after 180kg x 3 I'm positive I can do this!)
Bench Press - 100kg (if I put the effort in) (only 10kg away)
    Squat - 150kg (only 10kg away)

    Military Press - 85kg (only 5kg away)
    Push press - 100kg (only 10kg away!)

Can't believe my all times are 230kg Dead, 200kg Squat and 140kg Bench. @ 17 stone though that was! At 14.5 stone if I could obtain those numbers again I'd be well happy!

Solid mili press there Mike. I also checked out your DL vid. Have you ever played with moving your feet out just a bit along with your hands? It almost looks like your knees are pushing out, you'll lose tension and power if they are. And your hands look like they're running up your thighs, creating friction and slowing bar speed down. Hitting closer to your hips isn't a real issue, but when you start the contact just above the knee that's quite a bit of friction you're creating in the opposite direction of the pull. Try shooting a video from the side on DLs. That way you can critique yourself for bar placement as well. Ankles, Hips, Shoulders all in a line, weight distributed on the heals and pulling back. Just my .02 and some things that helped me add pounds to my DL.

Looking strong though, looking forward to you hitting those goals.

Thanks for your input/advice there mate! I will definitely get a side on video to view also!

Deadlifting always feels awkward for me, will try anything to make the movement easier and more efficient!
