    WTF are these redish/purplish marks on my shoulder?

    Well, it's probably nothing to worry about. Anyways out of curiosity...

    Look, it's been MONTHS, I've had these forever, I just didn't care too much. But now I am bored so I took pics. I am curious as to wtf is causing this damn mark. It feels kinda itchy if I touch it. Anyone else have this ? It's not a stretch mark is it?

    It's bigger on the right side.

    definetly stretch marks. look into some cocoa butter. you can pick it up at the local drugstore, its basically what pregnant women use to moisturize the skin to help make the stretch marks they get on their belly much less noticeable. anecdotally i've found that it does actually help if you consistently put it on at night, plus it smells good.

    Congrats. I have those wonderful things all the way up my spine, extending 3-4 inches out across each side. You'll learn to love them.

    Well actually you'll probably curse them after the 87th person at the beach asks you whether you've got some kinky girlfriend who went to town on your back.

    Heh, I Didn't think you can have stretch marks in that area. Lol... well honestly I thought it was blood circulation getting caught due to tight shoulders or something (lol..) because it was a purplish color..

    Ive got strestch marks on my bicepts and pecs.... I hate them, I guess its a part of getting big =\.

    I've never gotten stretch marks but I've gained so much, around 35 of muscle since I started lifting. I got them once on my legs and was so excited, but they went away so I guess they weren't. Maybe my skin is just good like that?

    I think that area is actually a very common area to get stretch marks. That's where mine are.

    I have them all the way around my torso and on the biceps from being a fatass kid who grew 7 inches and 75lbs in one year..

    Man, I clearly remember the day I first realized I had gotten stretch marks. I was so freaking proud it was unbelievable.

    They'll become less noticeable as they age. In fact, you can barely see mine in my profile pic anymore. But they were just as red as yours are at one time.
