    Knee Pain

I've been lifting now for about 2 months and my left knee has been hurting this week. I believe it is from squats and other lifts I do with my legs. The pain is certainly bearable and isnt very bad. I'm just worried it might get worse. Should I take a week off and see what happens?

You should see a doc. Don't mess around with knee pains. Knee injuries are the most common. You only have 1 pair of knees. Don't jack them up.

Hey do you bounce at the bottom of your squat? or controll the weight on the way down and pause at the bottom, before coming back up?

I had some pain in my left knee after squats as well. I asked the advice of a personal trainer and she told me i'm was leaning too much forward and did not have my feet parallel to eachother. I followed her advice and it does not hurt at all. I am still learning to squat I guess.

    Good advice.

Last time I had knee pain I thought it was just a twist/strain, turns out I had a torn ACL.
