This is a little wierd but before on my squat routine 5x5... I was able to get out 5/5/5/5/3 reps... but today It was 5/5/5/4/4 And I have no idea why...

what was your pre workout meal like? we all have days when we can lift more than we could the other day. consider it an offish day and hit it harder the next week.

Try eating a bit more carbs before you hit the gym

Your body's strength is going to vary daily. Sometimes if you kill yourself on a set the subsequent set may suffer.

Maybe you squatted deeper on these ones, or deeper on the other ones. THe depth you go to brings a whole new aspect to it.

No it couldn't of been this as I put a chair under me and go till I feel it then come back up(it's a short chair)

but what I found really wierd was being able to get the 4 reps after a previous set of 4 reps where i went from 5 to 3 reps last week.

The mechanics can still change. There are many other factors too, such as diet, random events in the day, emotion and rest.

Not only are they're tons of different variables, BUT you still did the same amount of reps as last workout. no big deal just hit hard next time.
