The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Went to the gym today with the same guy as last time, dont know why he'd need a partner to deadlift but it was a free trip to the gym so im not complaining. Didnt expect to pull anything too heavy today but I had some kind of hobo strength surge and i ended up pulling a solid PR, shoulda just gone for the damn 500 though, all mental with me

    Heavy Deadlift Day:

    *Rotator Cuff Stuff*
    *Stationary Bike*

    BB Squat (Medium Stance) -
    45 x 10
    135 x 5
    135 x 5
    135 x 5

    Deadlift -
    135 x 5
    225 x 5
    315 x 3
    365 x 3
    405 x 1
    455 x 1
    495 x 1 (PR)
    455 x 1
455 x Miss (meh, icing on the cake anyway)

    Cable PullThroughs -
    100 x 10
    150 x 15
    150 x 15
    150 x 15

    Hyper Extentions -
    x 12
    +25 x 10
    +25 x 10

    DB Hammer Curls -
    45 x 8
    55 x 5
    65 x 5
    65 x 5

    *Stretching*
    *Rotator Cuff Stuff*

455 before 495 was key, that was my mistake last time when I jumped from 405 to 500.

Nice lifting in spite of the problems
Remember, to get big, you have to get strong. The two are interconnected. Lift heavy, work hard, and size will come. Like night follows day. It works. Arnold
