Depends on what you're asking. If you just have weird ab genetics where only 5 are visible and they're curved and messed up but you have a low amount of bodyfat, then no. If you have a high amount of bodyfat and your hiding a 8 pack under the fat vs a ****ed up 5 pack under the fat - then yes.

low bf and diet as getfit said. How they look is genetics. if you look at some bodybuilding comps you will see this. ive seen a picture of to professions posing one had an 8 pac while one barely had a 6 pac however they were both at the same bf or similar and similar size.
weight 202 - (bf around 14%)
Bench - 286
deadlift - new pr on the 23/12/06 190 kilo (430 pound)
squat - 264 ATF
200 pound at 10% bf by next summer

A bit off topic but how do you work your abs when you already use 2 35 plates stacked ontop of eachother. I would use 2 45 but its way to large around to lift properly. Any other exercise besides weighted crunches?
I use a 60 lb DB. Some people find it effective to put the weight/plate behind their head. I haven't tried it that way. I like the DB and I make it a very concentrated concentric motion to hit my abs. Also, a lot of core work; squats, DLs and even chins with clean form will hit your abs.Originally Posted by Turnip

Yeah but Guido, how much more do you deadlift now than when you had an 8 pack? I used to have an 8pack, too, but I kinda closely resembled "an extra from a prison camp movie," as per the words of my good buddy, SpecialK (you motor-boatin son' of a bitch). I'm convinced that anyone who is fairly skinny *could* look like Brad Pitt from Fight Club (which seems to be the n00b's body of choice) if they just didn't eat and did ab/bench exercises till they dropped.
