The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Ab Routines

Ive been doing my own thing for about 4-5 months now. Cut out the pop, drank water only and ate different. Ive progressed alot but stopped working out lately and getting back into it.

I need a good Ab routine that will cut the abs.

Im 160 6'2''(Probably need to bulk)
    Thanks!

    -Christian

You can't "cut the abs" with an ab routine. You can't spot reduce by only doing exercises for your abs. And there's no need for an ab routine as your abs should be worked out just like every other muscle.

Making your abs appear is completely dependant upon your diet. A low body fat percentage will reveal your abs.

And you can't bulk and cut at the same time. You're 6'2", so you should probably be thinking about bulking first and then cutting to reveal your hard-earned muscles.

    READ EVERYTHING.

What's your current diet look like? You need to track everything you eat if you aren't already.

You can track your calories on www.fitday.com.

If you're already skinny, you'd still benefit from an overall body training routine. Your post was a bit vague, though, so I'm not sure how I was suppposed to answer.

Check out the "What A Bodybuilder Eats" link to give you some ideas for food. If you want to see results, you need to track what you eat and adjust calories based on your progress. Good luck!
