    10 x 10 method

    Has anyone ever tried the 10 x 10 training? , for example bench, pick a weight you could normally get 15 to 20 reps with and do 10x10 with only a 30 rest between sets. Ive read alot of good thing about this method of training all though it is said to give your recovery a beating. Any opinions??

    I've done something similar to that; just for fun. I've never kept it as a part of my routine. Personally don't think it would help me much.

    it works better with small muscle groups ie biceps. For about 2 months i did 10x10 barbell curls for my bicep routine. It works for a while.

    Do a search for german mass training its what all of these things are based off of

    I remember in high school when I first started lifting Gyno and I would workout in the school weight room after schooland the basketball team would be in there as well and they always did german volume training. NO wonder there so lanky. While one guy was benching his spotter would help him by curl the weight up for him. It was just ridiculous!
