The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

arms getting smaller, strength and rest of body growing...wtf?

Well i dunno whats going on...my body weight has maintained within a range of 2-3 pounds over the last 6 months, but i have noticed my arms have gotten smaller.

I have leaned out overall, my chest has grown noticeably and i have burned all traces of fat.

What would cause my arms to shrink a bit?

I know they replaced this one armcurl machine at my gym that just killed my biceps in an awesome way.... could that one crapo machine have really been the key to my big arms??

Maybe you just cut the fat out of your arms?

Its psychological. If your body weight has stayed within 2 or 3 pounds, then even if you lost 3 lbs only about 1/16 or an 1/8 of an inch could have been from your arms, which is pretty hard to notice. Unless you have been measuring them, the I doubt they've really "shrunk."

Either that or somehow the rest of your body has grown while your arms have shrunk, and jsut at the right proportions so that your body weight doesn't change much. (That was more of a joke.)

As others have asked, have you actually been measuring your arms? I'm guessing that it's all in your head. Otherwise, my guess would be that you lost a little in your arms because of the fat loss?

Prob the water retention from creatine in your arms. Yeah the poofy look again is just from the water retention in creatine. You should keep taking L-glutamine though will help protein synthesis.
