The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Dude, those are good. Your problem is your stance is a little to narrow so when your stomach comes into contact with your thighs it forces your pelvis to rotate. Try a little wider stance so you can fit your torso between your legs.
Also, on a few of them you dropped your head some.
Other than that, those are solid.
    Awesome.

Yes I developed a bad habit of looking at my knees to see how far they are passing my toes and checking my depth.

So you think my form is on key, but I have been using the same poundages for a few weeks now. And my numbers are still newbie. What gives.

The only thing I see is feet look like there very close. Maybe spread you feet out about shoulder width or little wider to start.

At the bottom you seem to almost be resting on your calves for a bit which is causing your knees to move forward a lot. It looks good all round, just at the bottom it's like you pause and the knees move forward. Think "up" when your a couple inches from ATF and you'll find that by the time you actually start moving up you've just reached rock bottom.

Think "time to squat the **** up" and begin pushing up. You'll hit ATF just without that pause. I've found that by the time you actually start moving up, you've already moved down another couple inches.

Oh, alright CC I'll try and not pause so much. I also heard relaxing like I did in the video can be damaging to the knees.

First weightlifting shoes I bought, their pretty comfy, they feel real solid. Beats the hell out of squatting off plates.

Your form is looking pretty good to me. It can be hard to break that habit of checking to see if your knees are too far forward. That's why I like to have a spotter there watching my form sometimes.

But anyways, is there a particular reason why you work out in your boxers?

My bench is called "Workout Center."

    http://www.nlfit.com/frameBenches.htm

It's awesome for tight space. I can switch the rack around to do squats. There are also these handles so I can do dips.

...and if you decide to go olympic you can buy an olympic set replacement add-on.

Same here. Although my knees stay a little further back I'm not quite that upright.

Or maybe I am, never seen myself. Sure as hell doesn't feel like it though.
