The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Stand there for a few minutes, then pace back and forth a lot, huff and puff, wait until everybody's looking. Approach the bar. Back off. Approach it again. Back off. Get some water. Chalk up. There's a fan film with Mike O'Hearn in it. He kind of fits the physical part a little better...too bad he can't act.

From the pictures I've seen and from my memory of Superman movies the new guy is more buff that CR. Also, the new guy is more handsome, imo. I also like the color choices for his costume better. Hmm... I wonder which side of the debate I'm falling on.

I don't care for Kate Bosworth...

Hey now... lol That I don't care for Kate Bosworth doesn't mean that I won't see a movie for a gorgeous actess... I just have a different idea of what is beautful (Catherine Zeta Jones, for example, is amazing imo). From the younger set I think Anne Hathaway could do a great job with the role (I loved her in Princess Diaries.... shut up).

The new guy's shoulders and legs seem better than CR's- very important bodyparts for me.

Brandon Routh is 6'2 and 1/2. Also, Reeve wasn't that big muscle wise when he was in the role as Sumerman.

I am an extremely huge Superman fan and I can't wait til next summer when it comes out. Also, that picture you posted has been out for many months now.

Bryan Singer has worked very hard on keeping the movie true to what it was when Reeve done it. It will basicly be Superman 3. He even is taking unused footage of Brando when he played Jor-EL but would not let the footage be used.

I am excited about this movie and it would be impossible for me to not like this film.

    I'm with you.

For me, it'll either be "optimal" or "less optimal". I can't imagine not liking it at all. Especially with Kevin Spacey, Brando, Superman's return, etc.

I think he looks like Superboy, myself, but it doesn't kill it for me. I *do* think that old promo pic was an incredibly poor choice by the studio, though.

I think they should have gone with the superman in this trailer:
    http://theforce.net/fanfilms/nonsw/grayson/

If I'm not mistaken this movie is suppose to be years after the last one was made. If this is true a older looking Superman would fit.

But he made her forget it by using the Force when kissing her. Damn Kryptonian mind tricks .... or .... something...

I just loved how the movies made things up as they went. Telekinisis, for example...

That's what I thought happened the first couple times it happened. But then again perhaps he is flying faster than the speed of light and thus time starts going in reverse, which is why the rotation starts going the other way.

You are correct. That is the exact comic book reason.

But it doesn't make it any less stupid.

Footage from a Coke commercial. It's actually a mixture of 3 different scenes.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

    Can you clarify a bit?

The "beginning" of the clip is the lightning on Supes, the end is when he's on the wing of the plane.
