    Super Abs

    I have flat cut abs. How do these people(in the muscle mags) get the bulky abs that stick out almost as far as their chests? Do you just add weight to and lower your reps of abs? Or do you train your abs more intense than 3 times a week?

    Actually most of them have really large ab muscles
    Just train them once or twice a week heavy and you'll be all set

    Resistance is what is going to make them grow. So do ab exercises using weights.

    Right now i train them 4 days a week, 3 days heavy and 1 day high reps? Actually i just started that program so i guess i'll be patient for now.

    very overtraining. those guys in the mags are shaved, tanned, AIRBRUSHED, and ROIDED. I can get mine to stick out a decent ammount working them once or twice a week. If you're squatting, deadlifting, and doing other movements which require tight posture your abs get plenty of work as is. If you have excess fat and can get rid of some of it do that too, that helps them pop out.

    anyone think its wise to use one of those resistance crunch machienes?

    dunno how exactly to describe it, but you do a crunch from a normal sitting position with your arms across a bar, and crunch forward, pulling the weight down to your midsection/knees

    (ok im just sounding dumb here heh), just trying to find out if im doing the right ab workout

    i also looked up some posts where people said not to do any resistance training on your abs, although i forgot the exact reason
