Why do you think they're shingles? It could just be a completely unrelated rash.
i have no idea what it is, but its getting seemingly bigger down 2 spots of my body, my leg and my arm. it sucks.
my buddy had it.
went to the doctor and it cleared up in just about a week.
Not a huge issue if you get it rreated

im going to the doc in about 2 hours, well see how that goes. atleast im getting wahtever it is now while i cant train.
Shingles can be quite painful and can cause some chronic pain problems. They're always one-sided (if it is indeed shingles).

I know you're half-crazy, but I wish you'd go all the way.

Shingles are not quite that easy to get rid of. They're essentially a flare up of a chicken pox infection. The virus gets reactivated and travels up your nerves (which is why it's so painful). What causes the reactivation is believed to be stress, but is more likely due to a weakening of the immune system (high stress = weakened immune system!).Originally Posted by Eszekial
What I'm getting at is that it sometimes takes a while to get rid of them and the creams and things the doc may give you are usually to help with the symptoms, not the cause, although I'm assuming standard antivirals may now be perscribed....something we didn't have the benefit of just a few years back.
Have you ever even had chicken pox? Because if you haven't these aren't shingles you have.
let us know what the doc said.
