Hi I have looked through this journal a few times and it is very impressive. But that workout you last posted was absolutely insane. You are truly an impressively strong woman. You also seem to be dedicated and I have no doubt you will break that bench record.

I see your squat PR is 460. Was that in a suit or raw? Just curious, because I want to gauge if I'm capable of a 1,000 leg press, as well, w/o actually testing fate and trying it first!

    Thanks everyone.
    Nate- Mostly.
Ricky- Starting to think i might just wait and do that raw instead of shirted, mostly for my amusement. Also, I'm considering competing in bodybuilding. I just don't know yet.
Guido- Raw, only a belt. Doesn't necessarily mean you will or not be as good at leg press, just try it out.

    So, yesterday:

    Training

    10/09

    Flat DB Press
    30sx10
    40sx10
    50sx10
    60sx8
    70sx8
    80sx8
    80sx8
    80sx8

All of these were very easy. I know I could have had around 15 reps with 80s if I wanted to, but stayed conservative for first time. But, basically that's the easiest it's ever felt, so apparently I'm stronger at pressing after being injured and not really doing any for about 3 months.

    HS Seated Dips
    90x10
    180x10
    230x10
    270x10 PR
    320x5 PR
    340x3 PR
    320x3
    270x8

Triceps Pushdowns (CG-Angled bar on lat pulldown)
    75x22 PR
    100x9 PR
    112.5x3 PR
    100x10 PR
    75x20

    1-Arm DB Extensions (each arm)
    20x12
    25x10
    30x8
    35x6

    Weight: 240lbs.
    Grade: A
Time: 2hrs. 10mins. (spotting and talking to my friend in between)

    Today:

    10/10

    Training

    Conventional Deadlift
    135x8
    185x5
    225x5
    275x3
    315x2
    365x1
    385x1
    415x1 PR

The 415 was hard, but I got it. Have to work more on lockout again though, since off the floor is really easy and above knee height is slow.

    Lat Pulldowns (wide overhand grip)
    100x10
    125x8
    150x8
    175x6
    200x3
    200x3

    HS Lat Pulldowns (hammer grip)
    180x10
    230x8
    270x4 PR
    270x4
    270x4
    180x12 PR

    Cable Rows
    100x10
    125x8
    150x8
    175x5
    175x4

    Weight: 242lbs.
    Grade: A
    Time: 1hr. 50mins.

    Diet

-Meal 1: protein shake w/half cup oats
-Meal 2: 5chicken breast tenders and yogurt
-Meal 3: Mass XXX shake made w/2cups milk
-Meal 4: 8oz. beef w/prego sauce and 2servings sweet potatoes
-Meal 5: 2cups milk and protein bar
    -Meal 6 (pre-w/o): 5oz. turkey w/gravy, 1serving sweet potatoes, and 1cup milk
-Meal 7 (during w/o): energy drink
    -Meal 8 (post-w/o): protein bar
    -Meal 9: 8oz. chicken w/gravy and 3servings sweet potatoes
    -Meal 10: 4cups milk

    Calories: 5780
    Protein: 437
    Carbs: 665
    Fat: 150

Yesterday and today were pretty much the same so just posting it once.

If you break the record raw that would be awe inspiring. Go for it. Good job on the deadlift pr. I would try to break the record first before competing in bodybuilding though. You are fairly close. Keep your eye on the ball and you will get it.

    K1M- Thanks.
LK- That was the 3rd time I did deadlift in about 5 months, so yeah it's not too bad. Thanks. And that's not the way I'm going to do use to increase my deadlift now. Oh, and I don't do power shrugs; strict is better imo.
Ricky- Thanks. I dunno yet. We'll see. I actually haven't decided yet to actually compete in powerlifting. A while earlier this year I thought it'd be pretty cool, but now I keep thinking that using all the equipment is a joke, sort of like cheating myself, so I might not really want to. Either way, I don't really lift just to compete; I lift b/c I like to.

    Thanks everyone.

So, this has definitely been an interesting last 4 days. We had the worst storm in western New York's history on Thursday afternoon into Friday morning. Thursday was pretty much a normal day. I had school, and I did go to the gym that day. I'm not going to bother posting all that right now. Friday morning at almost 2am, power went out at my house. All night there was lightning, tree branches cracking, transformers blowing up, and so on. I only slept like 4 hours that night. All the trees in my yard fell down, except for 2, and 1 fell on a cable line. In the morning, we had over 2 feet of snow. So, me and the rest of my family and my neighbors (we live in a 2-family duplex) shoveled all the snow in the driveway. That really sucked. Only a couple stores were open, and we only went to the grocery store, and they were already out of a lot of stuff. My neighbors have a gas powered stove, so we used that to cook food, so that was good at least. So, then our sump pump battery died and both our basements flooded with about a foot of water. My neighbors bought a back up battery, which only worked for about half an hour, but they got the other one recharged at a relative's place that had power and put it back in, and that worked for quite a while, at least that it didn't flood any more than it already had. We didn't have any heat and it was cold every day, which really sucked. I still had to work on Saturday, which at least they had heat and power, and then a little after midnight on Sunday morning, the power went back on at my house. We got it early, which was awesome, as there is still a lot of people here without power, and might not have it for more than a week still. Also, the water in my basement is gone now, but there's a lot of damage and we don't have hot water yet, besides that it's not safe to drink the tap water. Also, I couldn't find a gas station that was open till late last night, after work, so I could finally put gas in my car, as it was under a quarter of a tank. So, basically everything is closed today still (besides where I work, but I don't have work today), and there's trees and power lines down on many streets still. There's still driving bans in a few areas, and for some reason people don't understand traffic lights that are out are 4-way stops. Well, I don't know what's going to happen yet right now. I'm going to see if the gym is open today, which I highly doubt right now, but either way I have a lot of school work to do and no idea if I'm going to have classes tomorrow or not.
