The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Biceps before or after Quads?

I have just started the BGB routine, and on day 3 of the routine you have to do quads and biceps. Is it better to do the bicep workout before or after doing squats and leg presses, or does it not make much difference? I would rather get the bicep work done first as the quads work is more exhausting and I'd rather leave the quads till the end.
Do any of you guys leave quads till the end of your routine?

I would do quads first because it's harder. I always try to hit the hardest movements first so I have plenty of juice to get them done properly. If you find you're dead after working your quads, start doing cardio

Hit bigger muscles first is generally the rule.

Some don't do bicep conc. at all and just let the compound movements hit em....myself included.

I'd say do maybe 2 or 3 sets of biceps first. Curls arent very taxing (I assume youre talking curls) and I wouldnt think your squatting would suffer from that small amount of work beforhand.

I would do the "more important" sets first. This way, if something happens and you're running out of time, you may be apt to rush through or skip some of the last sets of the day. I think you'd rather hurry through or skip some sets of biceps rather than quads. IMHO.

Stuff comes up just as much at home as it does in the gym...Or maybe that day you're a bit tired or less focused.

Work the most important stuff first while you have: a) the time, b) the energy, c) the motivation
