    neutral grip bench press

    Hi. I was wondering if palms-facing DB bench pressing is an effective alternative to the normal, overhand grip for DB bench. The reason I want to do palms-facing is because I only have olympic dumbbells at home, and the length of them doesn't let me "squeeze" inward at the top of the motion whenever I DB BP (the handles just bump into each other). Would using a palms-facing grip be as effective as the normal grip?

    Phil would have me do that for a more tricep dominant exercise.

    Palms facing is a great exercise. Especially when you have crappy shoulders (like me).
